Rooted in quality, McCarty Farms continues to be motivated toward improvement, not just as an operation but also as people.  We will provide great opportunities for employment as well as a premier option for landowners.

Through innovative techniques we will be resilient to all the challenges that come with life and production agriculture while maintaining humility and remaining committed to our West Texas values.

OUR VISION

The McCarty Family began farming on the South Plains of Texas in the 1930’s in Lamb County near Lums Chapel.  Now in their 4th generation, the family has spent the last 80 years using the most innovative techniques in the industry to deliver quality products. Bryson and Blayne McCarty were each brought up working on the farm and started farming as sole proprietors immediately after graduation from Shallowater High School while continuing to work alongside their father, Grant, and learning important management skills. Today, the operation is headquartered in Spade, Texas. They use a minimum till approach to farming and combine irrigated and dryl and fields to raise corn and cotton with the occasional crop of sunflowers, wheat, sorghum, and cattle.

After Blayne and Molly welcomed the newest member of the McCarty Family, the passing of Bryson sent a shockwave throughout the farm and surrounding community. With the vision Bryson and Blayne put in place, we have continued to grow the operation, and the family. Blayne and Molly have 2 sons who are being raised on the farm. It is our hope that they will carry on the family business with the same passion for agriculture that our farm has been shaped by.

McCarty Farms is a general partnership that was formed between brothers Bryson and Blayne McCarty in early 2017.  We are a family farm that raises mostly cotton and corn with the occasional crop of sunflowers, wheat, milo, and a few beef cattle.  Located in Lamb county just 35 miles Northwest of Lubbock.  In 2021 we suffered the loss of Bryson, leaving Blayne and his wife Molly and their 2 young boys at the helm. It is our goal to continue the vision that started McCarty Farms by maintaining a viable and sustainable operation for our family, our employees, and the generations to come.
